Democrat Victories Seen as Momentum for Midterm Elections


Gun-control activists, Obamacare supporters, immigrant-rights advocates, environmentalists, gay rights activists — every part of the Democratic coalition — claimed momentum Wednesday in the wake of stunning victories in the off-year elections.
